Quality Lab Technician

Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on automotive leather parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize CMM programming for precise measurement and analysis of leather components.
- Conduct quality tests using temperature chambers to assess material performance under varying conditions.
- Execute leather wrapping processes, ensuring precise and aesthetically pleasing finishes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and corrective actions.
- Interface with suppliers to communicate quality requirements and address concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality assurance for automotive leather parts.
- Proficient in CMM programming for accurate measurement and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with leather wrapping processes.
- Familiarity with temperature chambers and their application in quality testing.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and suppliers.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive leather quality.
