Overview:
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Data Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in building, operationalizing, and managing the minimally inclusive data necessary for the enterprise data and analytics initiatives. The data engineer must be able to use Databricks for both ETL/ELT and storage.
Responsibilities:
Build and operationalize the minimally inclusive data necessary for the enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
Build, manage, and optimize data pipelines and clusters into production for key data and analytics consumers.
Drive automation through effective metadata management.
Guarantee compliance with data governance and data security requirements.
Serve as key interface in operationalizing data and analytics on behalf of the business unit(s) and organizational outcomes.
Work with key business stakeholders to plan and deliver optimal analytics and data science solutions.
Collaborate with data analysts and data consumers to work on data and ML models and algorithms to optimize them for data quality, security, and governance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in each of the following areas:
Data engineering and management with Data Factory, Spark and Databricks.
Building and managing data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, performance tuning, metadata, and workload management.
Azure cloud and related resources, including ADLS G2, Key Vault, DevOps, GitHub, and others.
Working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to support a multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative.
Preferred:
Experience with various Data Models and Data Management architectures, like Data Warehouse, Data Vault, Data Lake, Data Hub, and Data Mesh within cloud environments.
Experience in working with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using traditional data integration technologies. These should include ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design and access and upcoming data ingestion and integration technologies such as stream data and IoT integration, CEP and data virtualization.
Data integration experience with popular database, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres SQL, Polybase, Cosmo DB, MongoDB, and others.
Data integration experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, NetSuite, and other SaaS applications.
Experience working with popular data discovery, analytics, and BI software tools like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI and others for semantic-layer-based data discovery.
Experience of managing Databricks clusters, jobs, code deployment, and regression testing.
Knowledge of OLTP, OLAP, tabular model, star schema, master data management, data governance, Azure Purview, DevOps, SDLC, Agile, statistics, data science, ML, MLOPS, and AI.
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple deployment environments, including cloud, on-premises and hybrid, multiple operating systems.
