Administrative Assistant to the Director of Child Nutrition

Hours per day:  8 hours, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of basic office procedures, operation of office equipment, office machines, and bookkeeping
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in general clerical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate leadership, self-direction and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to work with and communicate positively with administrators, secretaries, parents, teachers, and co-workers

REPORTS TO: Child Nutrition Director

 

SUPERVISES: Etrition and POS Programs

 

JOB OVERVIEW: To maintain an efficient and professional office for Child Nutrition, providing support for Etrition Lunch and Breakfast  Program

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Works closely with the Director and Assistant Director to maintain daily cohesiveness.
  • Maintains required level of confidentiality of employee information.
  • Daily work with building Staff and Parents assisting with the lunch program.
  • Reviewing Data.
  • Generate Reports.
  • Process most paperwork to Personnel for Child Nutrition employees.
  • Work with Child Nutrition Employees maintaining proper procedures and requirements.
  • Process Request for Purchase.
  • School visits monthly.

           a. After School Snack Program.

           b. Summer Food Service Program.

           c. Daily Accounts
