Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The Materials handler is responsible for all manual and clerical work required to receive, store, record, distribute, issue, inventory, identify, sort, count, kit assemble, package, ship, order and requisition material, supplies, parts assemblies, equipment and tools. The Materials Handler will report to the Purchasing Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Use and operate records systems and equipment
- Expedite the supply of needed items by liaison, coordination and follow up with others
- Prepare forms, records and reports advising supervision of parts, material and tool shortages
- Perform the necessary coordination to assure that jobs are completed on time at outside suppliers
- Compare quantities and identification of parts received with applicable paperwork and adjust discrepancies according to established procedures
- Prepare parts, tools, and materials for transportation and routing
- Operate Company Vehicles to provide transportation of materials and supplies as required
- Ability to operate a forklift. Enjet is willing to train and certify
- Perform other duties as assigned within the general job classification
Qualifications:
- The selected candidate must have a valid US Driver’s license and good driving record with the ability to work first shift with flexible hours for coverage purposes
- Candidate will be viewing Blueprints and must be a US Citizen or have similar authorizations.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain experience Preferred.
- Experience operating a Forklift preferred but will train as necessary
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience preferred
- Experience using the following MS Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
