Responsibilities
The Commercial Manager shall be an integral part of the Asset Team responsible for maintaining, growing and optimizing gross margin and maximizing asset utilization. This person will play a key role in maintaining and growing current sources of gas supplies and profitability. Duties include:
Develop an extensive working knowledge of the EnLink Permian Basin assets in order to understand opportunities and obstacles.
Aggressively pursue, negotiate and purchase gas supply for EnLink’s Permian Basin assets.
Analyze and develop gas supply opportunities for the Permian Basin assets by sourcing projects, evaluating commercial terms and writing proposals.
Negotiate gas supply contracts and oversee contracts through to completion.
Work closely with Engineering and Operations in order to develop efficient assets for new supply opportunities.
Call upon industry network and customer relationships to create incremental business for the company.
Make recommendations and provide input concerning business development opportunities.
Work closely with Accounting, Contract Administration and Legal to ensure contracts accurately reflect the actual terms made with the customer.
Qualifications
Graduate of a 4-year college program with emphasis in business or engineering preferred.
5 years of strong midstream industry experience from a commercial perspective.
Possess strong negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Adept at economic and processing modeling and evaluating.
Exhibit a very strong understanding and appreciation for working in a team environment.
Must possess the ability to gain a working understanding of an integrated midstream asset base.
Proven track record and reputation for developing and maintaining relationships within the industry.
Successful experience in prospect generation and prospect negotiation.
Ability to work on several different projects/prospects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Written and verbal communication, including project presentations to customers and senior management.
