As the Care Services Nurse, you will:
... be primarily responsible for administering or assisting in the administration of medication and treatments in accordance with a resident’s health care provider’s orders. You may also provide residents with limited nursing services, assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs), provide general supervision, and respect residents' rights and needs of choice.
What you’ll do here:
- Administer medication or treatments prescribed by a resident’s health care provider
- Provide intermittent nursing services and observation of residents within state licensure regulations
- Provide care and assist residents with ADLs including but not limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transferring, and eating according to the individual care plan as needed
- Assist in the management and training of unlicensed caregivers relevant to Enlivant’s policies, procedures, and care plans
- Maintain resident records daily in accordance with federal, state, and company policies and processes. This includes documentation as it relates to medication distribution, leisure activities, and observations of the resident’s physical condition and/or behavior
- Perform other duties as assigned
We’d love to talk if:
- You are a Licensed Nurse (RN/LPN/LVN) with a current/unencumbered license
- You have education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations
- You meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- You maintain CPR and/or First Aid Certification as required by State regulations
- You continue education annually or as required by State Board of Nursing
- You have basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as the ability to learn new applications
- You have basic written and oral English communication skills
- You care about serving seniors
Bonus points if:
- You have at least 6 months of clinical experience in long term care, community-based care, or assisted living
- You possess good time management and organizational skills
- You work harmoniously with other employees and develop/maintain good employee relations and employee morale
- You engage others in fun and creative activities
- You have experience interacting with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease
Pay Range: $20 - $24 / hour, based on experience.
You are required to complete any necessary health requirements which may change from time-to-time, such as vaccination.
