Job Duties:
- Performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes.
- Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.
- Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation.
- May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.
- May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.
- Extensive knowledge in specialized function.
- Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques.
- Assignments are complex and require judgement and initiative.
- May act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
- May be a team leader or considered a subject matter expert for their work area.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience
- PC-DMIS & Open DMIS programming a must
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Note: Experience with micrometers, calipers, ring and plug gauges, schematics, tooling, or CNC machines may be relevant for specific programming roles in industries such as manufacturing or engineering.
