ENPOINTE is recognized globally as a premier commercial printer with over 35 years of experience is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. ENPOINTE is an innovator in print technologies, award-winning creative; state-of-the art web, sheetfed and digital printing and on-site mailing and fulfillment services. In addition, we provide marketing services such as campaign strategy, rebranding and lead generation strategies.

SUMMARY The Premedia Manager is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operating activities for all facets of Premedia production at our two manufacturing facilities; responsible for identifying and implementing technology improvements; coordination of workflow and directing activity for continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Responsible for measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes for his/her area.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance department. Attract, recruit and retain required members for the various areas of the department functions.
  • Provide the leadership in his/her area to be sure organizational objectives are being met and takes adequate steps to correct shortfalls as needed.
  • Evaluate processes and strive for commonality of scope of best practices between the two Premedia facility locations in;

o Organization

o Workflow

o Standard Operating Procedures

o Job descriptions

o Training matrix

o Maintenance

o Controlled forms & records

o Etc...

  • Ensure that all operational activities are in compliance with local, state and federal regulation and laws governing business operations including environmental oversight within the Premedia department.
  • Spearhead sound service practices and working relationships with key staff of customers and suppliers and participate willingly as needed with outside consultants and vendors.
  • Responsible for the effective, efficient planning and scheduling of personnel and equipment and determining how best to utilize the redundancy of equipment and personnel in the two Premedia facility locations.
  • Daily oversight and technical support for Premedia related issues, such as conducting production meetings for new projects or production changes producing written reports of various assessments within department protocol.
  • Maintains quality results by implementing and following procedures and standards in an ISO certified organization.
  • Understands your role in the companies’ Quality Management System regarding ISO.
  • Communicate effectively with the Vice President of Manufacturing informing and updating regularly to guarantee that production, sales, and customer objectives are met.
  • Develops the annual department budget and participates in monthly operational P&L review.
  • Assures that equipment is maintained at top operating efficiency.
  • Controls costs of materials through overseeing purchasing of supplies, in collaboration with the Director of Purchasing, for the Premedia department.
  • Actively research and develop new sources of supply and/or recommend possible substitute materials and/or supplies.
  • Assist in identification and disposal of obsolete and unusable supplies and excess product.
  • Develops and monitors production standards through establishing and maintaining appropriate records of performance of personnel and equipment; design, implement and lead transformational change and initiatives.
  • Update and input information on the Premedia continuous improvement board.
  • Reviews Premedia department non-conformance reports and partakes in proactive problem solving techniques to eliminate reoccurrences.
  • Schedule full – and or/part-time personnel hours including fair distribution of overtime.
  • Develop educational training programs for Premedia, CSR, and Sales staff.
  • Write job descriptions and provide input on establishing sound compensation and benefit practices.
  • Recommends hiring and dismissal of employees in the Premedia department to the Vice President of Manufacturing.
  • Develops and monitors standard operating procedures for the Premedia department.
  • Conducts performance reviews according to company HR guidelines.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of vacations in the department so that a continuity of area coverage can be maintained in all necessary functions.
  • Work closely with other Department Managers in exhibiting superior leadership qualities and skills in meeting internal and external customer needs.
  • Establish and communicates a strategic direction for the Premedia department.
  • Develop production plans/support services to enhance customer retention.
  • Offer hands-on management skills. * Other duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and/or Experience:

o Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Possess personal characteristics of integrity, dependability, competence, and prudence.
  • Managerial or supervisory experience, preferably in a Premedia environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of print manufacturing processes relating to Premedia tasks.
  • Have strong team leading and mentoring skills and a strong drive for results.
  • Highly motivated, with strong organizational, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communications skills are required to successfully interface with our customers, vendors and internal personnel.
  • Strong skills in work planning, and scheduling, and knowledge of those procedures.
  • Experience with print-based MIS systems, ideally PrintStream.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, and other PC and MAC applications.
