Responsibilities:
As a Senior Build Engineer in Enquero’s Enterprise Applications unit, you will be part of a fast-paced team testing the solutions for some of our Fortune 500 customers. You will leverage your formal education in the relevant field and your professional experience to apply professional concepts to work on targeted tasks. You will follow standard practices and procedures applicable in your area of work to complete your task/deliverable with high quality under limited supervision. Your established aptitude to achieve this while supporting other members of the team and improving your own knowledge and skills will define success for your role.

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Follow standard practices:
    • Preparing the Test Plan document, Requirement Traceability Metrics, and Risk analysis doc.
    • Creating Smoke, System, Regression, and E2E Test Suites.
    • Generating the Test Summary Reports and publishing to the stack holders on daily basis.
  • Contributing to your BU/Practice by
    • Documenting your learnings from the current work and engaging in the external tech community by writing blogs, contributing in Github, Stack overflow, meetups / conferences etc.
    • Keep updated on the latest technologies with technology trainings and certifications
    • Actively participate in organization level activities and events related to learning, formal training, interviewing, special projects etc.
Qualifications:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Elicit the true requirements underlying feature requests, align them with alternative technical and business approaches and work with business and technical teams to develop solutions that meet goals and requirements.
  • Oversee business to system knowledge management & documentation and assisting in overall system design from user interface to backend processes in both custom application development and software configuration projects.
  • Business analysis processes mapping including assorted requirements gathering methodologies, documentation, and partner relationship development.
  • Interact as IS contact with business unit partners to facilitate identification of process improvements, risk management, system design, testing and implementation of complex solutions.
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices.
  • Communicate the vision for the system by extracting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements from business objectives, documenting those requirements and refining them into technical action items.
  • Responsible for interpreting and validating horizontal business strategies and operational needs into technology solutions that drive efficiency and process improvement.
  • Assist business partners with defining clear, measurable objectives and ensure the solution options meet the project goals and align with the Global Strategic Initiatives.
  • Provide business and technical leadership and work with the IS Project Team to ensure that projects progress on expected timelines and alert project team to risks and issues related to IS solutions.
  • Complete assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner and coordinate the tasks of internal and external resources where necessary to achieve required results.
  • Ensure the security of Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials
  • Establish working relationships with others outside area of expertise.
  • Solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and develop new concepts, methods and techniques.
  • Represents Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5-10 years of work experience in systems analysis and design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to convey both technical and non-technical concepts to a wide audience.
  • Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A comprehensive understanding of business processes and the ability to quickly learn new processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and effectively present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ability to quickly understand and speak to the functionality of both in-house development solutions and implementation of vendor delivered applications preferred.
  • Expresses detail level business/systems analysis using As-Is Swimlane Diagrams, UML Use Case and other modeling standards.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft product suite, including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and SharePoint required.
  • Experience with JIRA preferred
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
  • Knowledge and experience in any one or more of these is a plus – ERP (SAP/Oracle), ArcGIS, Intelex, Safety Chain, Blue Yonder Warehouse Management, AWS Cloud DB, Data Analysis.
  • Bilingual English /Spanish communication skills, nice to have
