EnSafe is currently accepting applications for a Benefits Manager. Successful candidates will have 5 years of experience in benefits to join our HR team working from our Memphis, TN, office.

A Benefits manager will develop, implement, administrate, and maintain our benefits and retirement programs, policies, and procedures. What you will be doing:
- Responsible for overall administration and compliance for all NA benefit programs including, medical/dental/vision plans, LTD, STD, 401(k), wellness, etc.
- Educates and mentors the HR Team to guide them in their communications with EnSafe employees in relation to the employees benefit plans. Manages communication efforts and tools for employees to be well informed of their benefits. Also serves as primary contact for employees related to more complex benefit issues and handles the administration of FMLA and Disability issues.
- Primary contact with Benefit consultants and plan providers to ensure efficient administration of benefit plans. Research, analyze and recommend new benefit programs for Company to remain competitive and manage costs related to benefit plans. Implement programs providing effective communication and training to employees.
- Position is responsible for the analysis, research, communication, and administration of strategic employee benefit programs, and the processes associated with supporting these programs. Ensures that these programs support the company’s growth strategy, business objectives, and talent acquisition and retention goals; while maximizing total compensation value and responsibly managing the Company’s investment and implementation; and remediation system operation, maintenance, and optimization.
- Responsible for management of the systems and technology to support the benefit plans. Works closely with Payroll and HRCM as it relates to benefits.
- In partnership with our benefits broker, conducts budgeting and financial analysis of employee benefits programs. Monitors high-cost claims, targets problem claim areas. Ensure adequate estimates, forecasts, and calculations of expenditures in benefits for budget planning and tracking.
- Manages existing disease management and wellness programs as well as analyze effectiveness of programs and research/recommend new initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with governmental regulations related to benefit programs and labor law, including ERISA, FMLA, and HIPAA. This includes required testing and audits and SOX compliance.
- Ensure proper day to day administration of benefit changes and enrollments are processed in partnership with the payroll team.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 Years progressive benefits experience, additional HR knowledge is highly desired.
- CBP, CEBS, CCP certifications a plus.
- Strong functional expertise in benefits program design and administration.
- Excellent analytic skills.
- Working knowledge of government regulations that apply to benefit programs (ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, HCRA).
- Knowledge in fully insured and self- insured benefits highly desired.
- Strong software skills, including Microsoft program products and HR systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic.
