ENSCO Mission Systems Group (MSG) is seeking an engineer skilled in Hardware Design associated with high power electronics control and power management on a variety of vehicle platforms such as military vehicles, leading edge hybrid and all electric commercial transit, and maritime vessels. This opportunity will expand your knowledge in the design, development and production following of high power electronics systems. You will be working with and learning from some of the brightest senior engineers to develop solutions to engineering challenges as these 3rd generation systems are introduced across the globe. You’d be expected to research, design, development, and test information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components. This could be in the form of new hardware designs or modifications of existing products. You’d be developing technical specifications for production, analyzing hardware configurations and processing solutions, and testing hardware conformance to specifications. The market for these products evolves quickly and we have to move quickly too. With a broad list of activities it is never dull and the opportunities for growth and knowledge are vast.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology, with a minimum of 6 months related experience (can include internships, co-ops, and/or multi-semester senior design projects)
- Experience with electronic troubleshooting in lab or test environment
- Technical writing skills capable of creating engineering documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work in team environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Experience in power electronics design including analog circuits, gate drives, motor drives, and magnetics
- Experience with High Power/High Voltage systems
- Experience with software and firmware controlled power converters and power systems
- Experience with analytic tools such as PSPICE and/or MathCad
