Job Description
ENSCO has an internship opportunity available at our Corporate office for a dynamic individual to support our Accounting team. In this role, the selected applicant will have the opportunity to participate in Maintaining taxable reporting spreadsheets, Reconciling general ledger accounts, Creating journal entries for monthly payroll accruals, Providing help desk / customer service support, and Computing gross to net reconciliation to assure the accuracy of the payroll system as well as tax calculations. Interns in this role must be able to handle, protect and maintain the confidentiality of information, and have outstanding organizational abilities with great attention to detail. A strong desire, willingness and ability to learn new tasks will foster a successful internship.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
- A rising Sophomore, a rising Junior, or a rising Senior currently enrolled as an undergraduate working toward a degree in accounting.
Qualifications Desired
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent attendance record

Division Description
The Finance Division manages all aspects of the company's long-term financial decisions and activities in order to maintain a healthy financial position. The division implements ENSCO's accounting practices, maintains its fiscal records, and prepares its financial reports, general ledgers, fixed asset administration, cost accounting, budgetary controls, capital expenditures, and company chart of accounts.
