Field Technician

Ensolum, LLC (Ensolum) is seeking a Field Technician to fulfill a position located in our Denver, CO office. Our technicians are responsible for thorough and accurate execution of field tasks including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, detailed note taking and data collection under the supervision of a project manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect soil, air, and groundwater samples for field and/or laboratory analyses.
• Create detailed field notes and site sketches.
• Gain knowledge and understanding of pertinent rules and regulations.
• Provide oversight for subcontractors.
• Operate and maintain various types of field equipment and instrumentation.

REQUIRED

• High school diploma.
• Ability to maintain safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required, although the personal vehicles will not be required for use in the field.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Legally able to work as a full-time employee in the United States.
• Able to pass drug and alcohol screening and potential background and driving screening.

PREFERRED

• 0 – 3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
• Prior experience working in oilfield related industries.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
