ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP New York & New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Regional Sr. Nurse for our Westchester and Bronx office locations.
The purpose of this position is to oversee and provide nursing support services to the allergy department and physicians within an assigned region. Much of the job revolves around supervising assigned staff, however, it is expected when coverage is an issue - the Regional Senior Nurse will cover when necessary.
Responsible for managing staff, orienting, training, overseeing patient care, doing performance evaluations and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. In charge of assigning float staff and monitoring their activities, and with helping to recruit new personnel. Also acts as an interface between nursing staff, patients, physicians and other departments within ENTA. Other duties include implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a registered nurse and is able to handle stressful situations. This position also requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude. Further training in management or administration would be a bonus.
