Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an ISS (Immigrant Student Success) Program Coordinator for a position in Flint, MI. This is a long-term, contract position. Hours are part-time (about 10-15 hours a week). Pay Rate: $26.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Facilitate initiatives promoting integration, empowerment, and support of immigrant students, families, and community members.
Coordinate internally and externally to ensure seamless operations.
Promote socio-cultural integration of immigrant students and families.
Collaborate with stakeholders to access resources for immigrant students.
Engage immigrant students and families to foster a sense of belonging within the community.
Provide assistance with paperwork, interpretation, and communication with stakeholders.
Assist in developing, coordinating, and implementing tailored programs for immigrant students.
Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders to leverage resources and support services.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience in business/industry, human services, non-profit, or related field.
One year of professional experience in education, human services, or business.
Experience working with immigrant or international communities.
Must pass drug test and criminal background check.
Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of cultural integration strategies, community resources, and relevant policies.
Familiarity with data management and reporting software.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel, including web-based tools.
Previous experience with grant or performance-based programs, achieving successful outcomes.
Pay Rate & Status:
$26 per hour
10-15 hours per week
