1K Bonus after 6 months, 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, Hybrid remote/onsite schedule possible after initial onsite training
Job Description / Requirements:
- Drafting, Laying Out, and Specifying Technical Devices, Parts, and Equipment — Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used
- Model and drafting of layout, parts and assemblies
- Develop engineering ideas and experimental concepts into basic designs working from sketches, design specifications and/or very general directions from the Design Engineer
- Design aerostats and airships specifically transforming 3-D shapes into 2-D flat patterns for manufacturing. Experience in lofting and matching the intersection of complex surfaces a plus.
- Develop the detail design and completion of all drawings. The candidate must be proficient with 3-D and 2-D CAD systems. The candidate must have experience producing drawings in accordance with military standards (MIL-STD-100 and MIL-STD-3100) and ANSI Y14.5M specifications and be familiar with Mil-Spec hardware.
AutoCAD experience is a must have, Creo/SolidWorks is a plus. Experience in aircraft structures, sheet metal design. 2D design experience. AS Degree in CAD/Drafting is a plus.
