*Overview*
Seeking an EHS Analyst with a manufacturing background to develop and manage health and safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Develop comprehensive written health and safety programs and related training materials, including delivering training to all levels of management and employees.
- Training & Engagement: Develop and deliver safety training programs, ensuring that all employees are engaged and aware of their responsibilities in maintaining the organization’s EHS standards. This includes behavior-based safety (BBS), ergonomics programs, risk assessment, EHS training, machine guarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant Regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations).
- Risk Assessment: Facilitate and advise on risk assessments, guiding risk assessment teams through the process, prioritizing risks, and implementing effective risk control measures.
- EHS Resource: Serve as the primary resource for all EHS-related activities within the plant, providing guidance and support to management and employees.
- Safety Inspections: Perform or coordinate department/plant-wide inspections to ensure compliance with safety procedures, equipment, and programs, and manage risk reduction strategies.
- Incident Investigation: Participate in incident investigations, providing recommendations for corrective actions and working with plant management to develop and implement action plans.
- Compliance Audits: Assist in or conduct health and safety compliance audits, including pre-audit preparation, facility audits, and preparation of clear and concise reports on findings.
