Summary: Hiring an Electronics Design Engineer with experience in circuit design, product certifications, and full product life cycle development.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in electronics circuit design
- Familiarity with certifications like UL, SASO, Altium, or similar PCB software and circuit board layout
- Solid experience with designing circuits involving sensors, analog and mixed-signal circuits, microcontrollers/microprocessors, memories, and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, RS485, CAN, Ethernet)
- Proficiency in designing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and obtaining product certifications such as FCC, CE, IC, CCC, SASO, ATEX, UL
- Ability to work on safety products, wireless products, IoT products, and sensor systems
- Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN bus, SPI, and I2C
Preferred Skills:
- 7-10 years of experience for higher pay bracket (3-5 years preferred)
- Experience in designing safety products, wireless products, IoT products, and sensor systems
- Capability to design products involving sensors, actuators, and other Human-Machine Interface (HMI) modules
- Understanding of full life cycle product development
- Proficient in selecting microprocessors, interfacing circuits, and input/output communications
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to validate product functionality during customer visits
- Proficiency in identifying design improvements to enhance reliability, reduce cost, and increase service life
- Collaborative approach in working with manufacturing and supply chain teams
- Ability to participate in Project Design Teams for hardware and firmware implementation
- Skill in creating and maintaining internal requirement and design documents
Job Responsibilities:
- Design various circuits, including sensors, analog, mixed-signal, microcontroller/microprocessor-based, and communication interfaces
- Obtain product certifications and ensure compliance with EMC and regulatory standards
- Contribute to the design of safety, wireless, IoT, and sensor products
- Participate in full life cycle product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into actionable design objectives
- Assist in microprocessor selection, interfacing circuit design, and input/output communications
- Validate and troubleshoot product functionality during customer visits
- Identify design improvements to enhance reliability, reduce costs, and increase service life
- Support manufacturing and supply chain teams for quality and reliability
- Participate in Project Design Teams for hardware and firmware implementation
- Create and maintain internal requirements and design documents
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 PER HOUR
