What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Entegee?
Shifts:
B-Shift: 5PM to 5AM (Monday to Friday, with some weekends)
C-Shift: Friday to Saturday (Days) 5AM to 5PM then Sunday to Monday (nights) 5PM to 5AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and directs production employees in a safe, quality-minded, and productive manner with a sense of urgency to attain production priorities as scheduled.
- Removes obstacles to ensure that production requirements and customer demands are met.
- Keeps direct reports focused and on task to meet department objectives.
- Ensures the daily pre-shift meetings and other communication tools are used effectively.
- Communicates with Production Manager and other plant personnel about production concerns, providing status reports as appropriate.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
Has direct responsibility for production employees and team leaders on assigned shifts
- Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Prefer three years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have good organizational and managerial skills to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be proficient in computer operations.
- Must exhibit high integrity and honesty.
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements, and business correspondences.
- Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions from various groups.
