Site Safety Manager

Location: Statesboro, GA

Site Safety Manager (Day shift)

Details:

Seeking an on-site presence at large industrial construction project. Ongoing projects that involve HVAC, welding, sheet metal, insulators, concrete work for new construction and ongoing facility upgrades at this location.

Requirements:

• 4yr degree is preferred but not required, 5-10 yrs as a safety coordinator/manager within an industrial construction field.
• Must be willing to day shift
• Nice to have: OSHA 500, OSHA 501, CHST, CSP, OSHA 10 & 30
• Familiarity with skilled trades (HVAC, Sheet Metal, Plumbing, Piping, etc.)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead the morning safety meeting each day.
• Review the Daily-JHA’s created by each crew.
• Walk the job site and assist the contractors with their safety
• Help process any paperwork – Hot Work Permits, Confined Space, Incidents Reports
• Document observations throughout the day and include them in the next day's safety meeting.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

• Site Safety Management: 8 years (Preferred)
• Industrial Construciton: 8 years (Preferred)
• Daily JHA's: 8 years (Preferred)
• Hot Work Permits: 8 years (Preferred)
• Confined Space: 8 years (Preferred)
• Incident Reports: 8 years (Preferred)
• New Construction/Facility Upgrades: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CSP or CHST (Preferred)
• OSHA 501 (Preferred)
