What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vision Engineer position at Entegee?
Summary: Seeking a mid-level Vision Engineer with experience in vision automation and proficiency in Cognex Insight 2-D machine vision systems for system development, programming, and problem-solving tasks.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
3-6 years of vision automation experience
Hands-on experience with Cognex Insight 2-D machine vision systems or similar products
Strong background with AB PLC's, HMI's, Servo control and electrical design
Experience on programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, MS Office
Ability to use measuring tools: scales, calipers, multi-meters
Responsibilities:
Participate in and lead the development of vision architecture for multiple module system and the engineering team.
Program vision systems for cam, servo, and air operated stations along with test and electrical devices.
Ensure the vision design is functional, robust, and cost effective.
Innovate and use good judgment to incorporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Research and specify appropriate purchased and preferred components.
Participate in internal and customer design reviews; provide support during installations; answer service calls when needed.
Guide Electricians in wiring and codes. Support software validation requirements.
Problem-solve with Mechanical Builders; debug software issues; update all appropriate documentation.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
