Entensiv Operations is looking for 6 qualified individuals to staff our 24/7 Facilities Control Center. These are union positions and will be part of IUOE Local 877
Job Summary
The Facilities Control Center (FCC ) is a 24/7 facilities-related systems monitoring center that provides services related to operating and maintaining critical environments at Harvard Medical School. The FCC services include but not limited to :
- Building Automation Systems (BAS) monitoring
- Alarm management
- Call center services
- Incident coordination
- System diagnostics
- HVAC Triage and troubleshooting support
- Dispatch services
- Executes related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI)
Position Description:
- Monitors multiple BAS for system alarms and unsatisfactory conditions, execute SOPs, tracks issues to resolution
- Provides initial triage and troubleshooting of issues identified from system alarms, calls, or other sources
- Review BAS status, queries and reports to identity unsatisfactory conditions, tracks issues to resolution
- Retrieve point trend logs and analyze for anomalies
- Follows SOPs for documentation and work order creation
- Dispatches field technicians and assists with troubleshooting.
- Updates work order system tickets as required for documentation
- Execute Preventative Maintenance SOPs and WIs assigned to FCC
- Provides Incident Support including coordinating for ERO activities
- Maintain FCC Log Books for contractor activities
Basic Qualifications
Five years related experience in the maintenance and operation of complex building system infrastructure. Must have Siemens Insight and Desigo experience or substantial similar experience and relevant training
Additional Qualifications and Skills
Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the operation and troubleshooting of all types of commercial building heating and cooling systems. Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practices, perform work in accordance with recognized trade and customer standards. Must be able to read and interpret detailed plans, specifications, operating manuals and other written materials associated with this trade. Must be able to effectively communicate with peers and customers.
Technology Skills Required:
Basic proficiency and understanding of Windows® based software applications. Demonstrated proficiency with electronic mail, MS® Office, and related desktop and handheld devices and applications required.
Proficiency with Web Based Applications including Maximo, Google Apps for Business
Siemens Insight and Desigo experience and knowledge on making scheduling and setpoint adjustment, override and release points, review point configuration, view and export trend data.
