And, of course, to be themselves. The role of Senior Manager, Global Credit and Collections is a highly collaborative and influential role at Entrust Corporation. The role is ideal for someone who excels in an environment where new challenges define every single day. We are looking for a strong communicator who prioritizes relationship building and is proficient in leading customer credit risk. This is a global role, and a successful candidate will have a history of operational improvements and technology adoption that enable efficient cash collections while maintaining excellent customer relationships. A passion for mentoring others and for learning in an evolving environment. The Senior Manager, Credit and Collections will report to the Vice President of Treasury. This role requires consistent interaction with external customers as well as Sales, Services, Finance and Legal departments to initiate and maintain relationships with customers and to collect fees invoiced to customers. Responsibilities: Leading the collection and cash teams of 10 individuals with responsibility for global accounts receivable aging and cash application. Teams are located in US and Canada but their portfolios cover the globe. Tracking team and individual collections goals. Coaching the global collections team to ensure achievement of goals and continuous improvement through monthly one-on one and group meetings. Implementing global gold standards around the use of technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of cash applications and collections. Responsible for oversight of a global portfolio of client accounts, resolving disputes, calling on delinquent accounts, assisting with account queries, and collections. Providing guidance to management on corporate credit policies and procedures. Recommend and implement initiatives to improve cash collections processes with a focus on scaling global collections operations Completing and submitting the monthly bad debt allowance to the Senior Leadership team. Developing weekly and monthly AR management reports. Interacting with clients and internal departments to consistently deliver superior customer service as well as to support company initiatives. Handling critical issues, when needed, in a professional manner to ensure amicable and reasonable solutions for both the company and the client. Managing the relationship with 3rd party collection agencies and legal support as appropriate. Supporting the month end financial close process. Other responsibilities as assigned by management Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 7 years professional credit and collection management experience Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US Preferred Qualifications: Thrives in a fast-paced, results oriented, and driven environment Ability to work with high volumes of clients and transactions Ability to represent the Finance department favorably with other departments and external third parties including auditors and customers Strong negotiation, collaboration, and persuasion skills Prior experience working as part of a global team Proficient at BI Report writing Previous Oracle experience This role is eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement.
