What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Calibration Technician position at ENV Services?
ENV Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Field Calibration Technician in the San Antonio, TX area. We are a nationwide company and for over 50 years, ENV Services, Inc., has been the pioneer in the Calibration, Certification, and Decontamination of Controlled Containment Equipment and Facilities. This position involves Laboratory Equipment Calibration in the areas of temperature, pressure, flow, displacement, thermocouples and dimensional gage calibration.
What you will do in this role:
- The position involves calibrating and repairing various testing and measurement devices in and around San Antonio, TX.
- Test and calibrate equipment at various customer locations.
- Troubleshoot and repair of various lab equipment.
- Record calibration data and accurately complete paperwork.
Additional services you may be trained to complete include: Decontamination, Laboratory Equipment repair, Air Quality Monitoring (AMP) and Autoclave Validation Services.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of calibration training / experience.
- Operational knowledge of an oscilloscope & multi-meter, soldering wires & connectors, various crimping tools, wire stripping and ohm's law.
- Calibration experience in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields are highly desired.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude desired.
- The ability to multi-task is required.
- Basic Computer skills using email, internet, word and excel.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be willing to travel on a daily basis, including weekends.

Position Requirements:

- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
