Envera Health is a fast-growing healthcare services start up. We partner with Health Systems to provide foundational patient access services, providing a more seamless and connected experience for their patients. We are currently seeking an energetic, highly creative, and passionate individual to join our Growth Team as our newest design intern for 2022.

This role will support our content team by providing designs for our marketing campaigns and sales team. The type of content that you can expect to provide designs for include Use Cases, White Papers, eBooks, Digital Ads, Social Media Posts, Infographics, Sales One Pagers, Power Point Slides, and any custom artwork as needed based on the marketing project. This internship scope will encompass only the graphic design needs of the content generation process. Copy writing, campaign management and other marketing responsibilities will be managed by other members of our marketing team. However, by working closely with these individuals you will gain knowledge in the marketing process.

This internship is currently open to graduate and undergraduate students. The Design Intern will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, the position will be primarily remote, and will be paid a rate of $15-$20 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. This internship will begin at the start of January 2022, and end in December 2022. Deviations outside of this timeline may be considered, if deemed mutually agreeable by both parties. The responsibilities of this position are meant to provide an experience that is of mutual benefit to Envera Health and the intern. The intern will gain experience in the following areas:

  • Creating designs for content produced by our marketing team
  • Creating templates and adding elements of customization for content reproduction purposes
  • Ensuring that designs align to the company brand guidelines to protect integrity of the brand
  • Taking part in brainstorming sessions during the content/campaign planning process
  • Attend weekly planning meeting and morning stand up meetings to connect with the marketing team to identify roadblocks, while updating tasks in our project management system to keep the rest of the team informed on progress
  • Practice effective time management skills with ability to balance design speed and quality to maintain a high level of quality output

Qualifications:

  • Currently studying for or recently obtained a BFA/BA in graphic design, experience design or experience in a related field
  • Familiar with typography, illustration and design principles
  • Highly creative and motivated, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Deep working knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • A keen eye in current design practices/trends
  • Ability to work independently as well as function in a team (self-discipline, self-starter)
  • Understands the importance of maintaining a consistent brand identity
  • Strong organizational skills and record keeping
  • Ability to take creative feedback
  • Video editing (Adobe Premiere), photography skills a plus!
  • Desire to lean, grow and gain experience as a graphic designer in the marketing field
