What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proposal Manager position at Envirocon?
The Proposal Manager manages, writes, coordinates, and prepares proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), prequalifications (prequals), and requests for quotes (RFQs) from government and commercial prospects. Tasks include writing or editing proposal sections, designing compelling proposal graphics, maintaining schedules, organizing resources, coordinating inputs and reviews, ensuring bid strategy implementation, ensuring compliance, resolving internal team issues, and providing process leadership.
This position will work within the Proposals Team, report to the SVP of Business Development and Strategy, and work closely with the executive management and senior staff in defining and creating winning proposals. The Proposal Manager must be an effective team leader capable of determining the requirements for each proposal effort. They will coordinate with business development, operational and divisional contributors, and possess flexibility to adjust to frequent changes in requirements.
