We are looking to hire an experienced Parts Sales Representative to our growing team. This position is highly support oriented; This position reports to the Sales and Service department managers; You are expected manage a sales funnel and achieve the set goals and metrics set by the organization along with providing consistent feedback to management. As a growing business, your input is vital to understand how we can better serve our customer base and is integral to the continued success of the dealership.

Tasks:

  • Recommend and sell refuse, equipment, materials, supplies, and services utilizing knowledge of refuse and heavy-duty equipment and their applications.
  • Contact current and potential customers, visits establishments to evaluate needs, and promotes sale of products and services. Along with addressing customer concerns and resolving problems effectively and satisfactorily.
  • Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions in person or via telephone, e-mail, or other communication.
  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
  • Prepare sales slips or sales contracts; receive or direct payment.
  • Attends sales and trade meetings and reads related publications to obtain current market condition information, business trends, and industry developments.
  • You will be responsible to organize your workflow and turn qualified leads into sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Organize book of business to maintain efficient and timely transactions

Skills:

  • Experience using CRM or Customer Relations software systems/programs.
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize with urgency.
  • Exceptional motivational skills and works well with a team but also able to work alone.

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
  • Customer Facing Sales: 2 years (Required)
  • Karmak & Salesforce (Preferred)

Education:

  • Requires: Two (2) years of relevant work or similar environment.
  • Requires: a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus vocational training or job-related course work.
  • Automotive or other mechanical knowledge is a plus.
