Environmental Testing & Consulting, Inc., (ETC), is seeking a Director of Field Operations to join our team! GET READY TO FRAME YOUR FUTURE
The Director of Field Operations is responsible for job performance, job costs, field staff, staff training and competence. They must regularly update the Integrator and be a member of the Leadership Team of ETC. This position is critical to the success of ETC and will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.- A minimum of 5 Years of field experience in any of the following; Commercial/Residential Environmental Services, Industrial Hygiene, Restoration, Abatement or Construction.
- At least 5 years of departmental operations experience in a management role required.
- Experience evaluating the performance of employees and identifying areas of improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong acumen in management skills and process improvement.
- Operationally driven with experience creating best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Personality traits that include attention to detail, ownership mentality, lifelong learner with a positive attitude along with a firm and assertive, yet empathic, approach.
- Knowledge of Environmental Testing and/or inspection a definite plus.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates and models ETC’s core values- Demonstrate the requisite leadership, emotional intelligence, vision, and interpersonal skills to help motivate the staff and deliver exceptional operational outcomes to meet agreed-upon growth objectives.
- Provide technical and professional assistance to field employees in support of project tasks.
- Perform regular client maintenance, especially in key growth areas.
- Coordinate and communicate with sub-contractors and vendors for major projects.
- Review and recommend employees for special assignments and development opportunities, as required by specific service areas and contracts.
- Monitor and advise on consistent “best practice” standards for tools and equipment used to perform field services.
- Diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues for immediate resolution.
