What are the responsibilities and job description for the LSRP position at Envirotactics, Inc.?

We are looking for an environmental project manager who is a licensed LSRP in the state of New Jersey or someone close to getting their LSRP license (will need the license within a year from Hire). Your project base will have you using various scientific methodologies and disciplines, engineering techniques, and biosciences to address environmental issues. This includes efficiency, resource management, and public policy compliance. Candidates should know your local environmental regulations, technical guidance, and risk assessments.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to field project teams by managing and overseeing site remediation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, including work plans, remedial action reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies, including soil and groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion mitigation, and sediment remediation.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage site inspections and oversee field activities, including drilling, sampling, and monitoring well installations.
  • Manage projects from conception to closeout.


Required Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, related environmental/engineering field, or equivalent experience.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, and NJDEP regulations
  • Proficiency in environmental assessment and remediation techniques, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, groundwater modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and team members.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and meet project deadlines.
  • You will need a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Prior experience supporting Oil and Gas is a plus.
  • Current OHSA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
  • Must have a safe driving record and a valid Driver's License and must have a satisfactory driving record following the Company's driving policy.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, both internally and externally.
  • Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities.
  • Independently problem-solve and work autonomously with a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional writing, grammatical, and verbal communication skills.
  • Required knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages (Microsoft Office and Adobe).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint preferred.
