We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced IT PMO Financial Analyst III
At Envision Healthcare, the primary purpose of the IT PMO Financial Analyst III role is to provide an active link between the PMO and Finance. Core functions includes providing support for budgetary cost reconciliation and project actuals reporting. Additional responsibilities include supporting the identification of anticipated financial benefits from project deliveries (additional revenue generated or operational costs saved), determination of benefits calculation and measurement and reporting of realized benefits following completion of IT deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements.
- Engage with business partners and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
- Help facilitate the interactions with business in the determination of project level benefits, success criteria and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with project teams and finance to identify and report on realized success and performance metrics during project delivery and financial benefit metrics following project completion and delivery.
- Coordinate with project delivery teams in the management of project budget costs against project forecasts.
- Coordinate with finance in the reporting of accurate project costs and anticipated accruals.
- Development of all project level cost vs. forecast reporting across the enterprise.
- Support of project delivery teams in the formulation of project cost estimates and the preparation for investment requests with finance.
- Coordinate the reallocation of funds across projects and portfolios related to change requests.
- Promote architectural consistency and usability standards; define and execute test cases.
- May be required to support enterprise finance efforts related to IT deliveries as needed (financial governance, annual budgeting process, etc.).
- Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders, internal and external customers, and vendors, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Identify roadblocks, issues or challenges that arise during the project, and works with the project team to remediate and resolve those issues and challenges.
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 7 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet and Sharepoint
- Highly experienced with financial analysis within PMO environment.
- Data analysis experience (data warehouse).
- Healthcare experience.
- Engagement with VP or higher-level stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills and team player mentality.
- Oral, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively present information.
- Patient, comfortable with change and adapts quickly.
- Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, facilitation, and elicitation skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and identify critical intelligence and data interpretations.
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
