IT Project Manager Summary
The IT Project Manager (IT PM) will work internally with the Envita Solutions IT team. The development team practices the Scrum methodology. The IT PM will be responsible for running the ceremonies for the team. Working with the entire team, this role will be responsible for gathering and managing business requirements and understanding the business value impact. The IT PM will have the responsibility of managing the progress of the IT solution and identifying and coordinating change management needs.
This role will report directly to the VP, Technology, and will own status reporting for all IT-related work projects. The top strategic priorities and programs for the business will be shared with the Senior Director of Business Transformation for inclusion for executive and board level reporting and reviews. This role is a key individual contributor to the broader business transformation team that will support the strategic sustainable growth for Envita Solutions.
How You'll make an Impact
- Manage IT programs and projects that have been identified to meet the strategic objectives of the business
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and manage day to day activities of projects the department is tasked to complete
- Coordinate change management needs, timing, communication, and training with key business partners
- Understand and represent the concept of why behind the projects and objectives
- Complete requirements and user stories
- Assist in the long-term and short-term sprint planning for of prioritizing work to be completed
- Responsible for status reporting
- Manage timelines and effectively problem solve to recover when unforeseen delays occur while keeping scope in mind
- Effectively work with individuals of all experience levels across the organization, helping to understand their points of view and express the process used to achieve success with our practices.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- High School diploma or its equivalent required
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred
- Related Technology and/or Project Management Certifications beneficial
- Minimum 4-year experience in technology-related project management role
- Minimum 2 years experience with agile framework and scrum methodology in a development environment
- Hands on experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
- Effective project management skills; PMP certification beneficial
- Strong experience and skills in gathering requirements and drafting user stories
- Ability to track and manage milestones
- Effective communication skills in providing status reporting update
- Ability to effectively problem solve
- Effectively support cross-functional collaboration: demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, including software developers, system administrators, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to identifying opportunities for business process improvement and leading projects to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
- Effective at building relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure scope of work aligns with project requirements and timelines
- Possess a strong understanding of IT concepts and technologies to effectively communicate with technical teams and make informed decisions
- Ability to multi-task effectively and manage timelines
