- Make sales calls and develop relationships within the community to generate funded loans
- Request and gather information and documents from borrowers to complete the application, its structure and all loan disclosures in conjunction with underwriting and processing
- Review interest rates as needed and lock all loans with the borrowers in accordance with policies and procedures, at least fifteen days prior to closing
- Participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, special events, etc., to develop and maintain relationships and customer service
- Be accessible to the buyers and associates and return calls within 24 hours
- Build rapport with and maintain open lines of communication with borrowers, builders, realtors and processors and provide outstanding customer service
- Travel to communities to meet with borrowers and obtain loan applications as necessary
- Keep current on mortgage products, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines as well as internal guidelines and overlays in order to promote Envoy products
- Maintain reports and notes within origination computer system to ensure complete exchange of information regarding loan application, loan status, conversations with customers, underwriting, lock in information, monthly projected closings, incentive, and expense reports
- Participate in weekly "Pipeline" meetings with processor(s) or phone calls as required with full working knowledge of each file
- Other duties as required
Education and Experience Requirements:
- One to two years as a Loan Originator or a Loan Originator Associate preferred
- Willingness to put in the hours required to be successful
- Able to use a computer and familiar with Microsoft programs
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately
- Must be able to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make distinctions through sound
- Must be able to perform substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and or fingers
- Must be able to perform sedentary work occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force and to frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer and reading
