Delivery Driver

JOB SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for loading and securing equipment for pick-ups and deliveries to our customers sites. Assist in the warehouse when there are no deliveries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES*

• Loads equipment per delivery schedule and properly secure equipment
• Safely and respectfully drives the delivery truck for installs or returns of equipment
• Greets customers and courteously moves equipment throughout the facilities
• Presents a professional appearance in dress and mannerisms
• Coordinates deliveries with sales team for optimal time management
• Ability to prioritize work and complete jobs and pick-ups within requested turn-around times
• Works within tight schedules and rapid pace in an environment of changing priorities
• Keeps trucks clean inside and out and performs daily inspections of company trucks
• Maintains maintenance logs and responsible for insuring optimal truck maintenance
• Removes hard drives to protect customers data and collect unused supplies
• Ensures returned equipment is documented with proper paperwork
• Moves equipment up or down stairs using stair climbing tool
• Scans return documentation for equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*

• High school diploma

PREFERRED REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*

• 2 or more years of related work experience

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS*

• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude toward customers and co-workers

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS*

• This position requires driving/travel daily with occasional days exceeding 8 hours
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical

• This position requires the use of a delivery vehicle and stair climber

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach above and below shoulder height, pull/push/lift and carry over 50 pounds, have repetitive movement (fine motor like typing, writing, keyboarding, filing), talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend/stoop/crouch, and twist/turn. The employee is occasionally required to reach shoulder height, crawl, and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
