Come join our team as a COVID Response Team Specialist and help Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) realize a common mission by providing support services to our COvid Response Team. This temporary, benefitted position is budgeted for 32 hours a week through June 2024. Hourly Pay rate of $19.00

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
No required experience
Prefer some experience working with people. Any medical experience is a plus. Bi-lingual highly desired.
Knowledge of:
- Principles of case management, advocacy, and family systems
- Washington State Department of Health COVID Guidelines
- Office of Head Start COVID Protocols
- COVID Rules of Exclusion and Return
- COVID Protocols for Early Learning Settings
- Technological proficiency
Ability to:
- Communicate effectively with children and families from varying cultural, educational, socio-economic background.
- Work cooperatively with staff members and clients from diverse cultural, socio-economic and educational backgrounds and provide services as needed or requested to ensure program requirements are met
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Use the team approach to resolving problems or conflicts.
- Demonstrate professional and effective written, verbal communication, and phone skills; receive information and feedback in an understanding manner; use good judgment.
- Work independently and demonstrate flexibility to changes in work schedules and assignments.
- Ability to stay engaged through repetitive daily tasks
- Attend appropriate staff meetings and out-of-town training sessions as assigned and provide training to staff at EOCF sites as needed.
