Job Posting for Mechanic II at EOG Resources, Inc.
Maintain equipment to indusrtry standards of safety compliance. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and various other equipment used in Materials. Ability to analyze malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment, power and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Typical duties include:
Installation, repair and maintenance of all types of mechanical system equipment and components.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the mechanical trade
Apply knowledge of applicable industry standards, and regulations with respect to maintenance and operation of equipment.
Sustain and improve reliability of equipment by performing maintenance as scheduled in support of existing preventive maintenance plan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required. Must have 5 years' experience as a maintenance mechanic. Must be an experienced welder; certifications are not required.
Good driving record required.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
