What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning and Training Manager position at EOS?

THE POSITION:
Design, manage, coordinate, and deliver training via classroom, workshops, virtual training, and online learning management systems. As the lead of Learning & Development team, you will provide a consultative support experience for all managed services leaders and teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Create, deliver, and evaluate learning strategies and programs.
· Evaluate individual and organizational development needs based on client SOPS/SLAs.
· Conduct cyclical learning meetings with internal teams, and department leads.
· Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, mentorship, e-learning, virtual learning, workshops).
· Design e-learning, presentation decks, and other learning related collateral.
· Conduct live training using EOS and vendor-provided facilitation materials.
· Work closely with learning vendors to vet content, it’s effectiveness and to make recommendations as appropriate.
· Assess development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
· Assist in managing development programs and work with leaders to create new programs built around the needs of a future-focused business.
· Help managers develop their team members through career pathing, skill management, competency coaching.
· Support the implementation and execution of compliance training strategic objectives.
· Design and deliver non-legal compliance training, and provide input in the design, creation, and delivery of other compliance training content
· Assist in developing training aids and communication plans, including utilizing website and targeted email communications, to reinforce training content and allow instruction to be put into practice.
· Assess training data to evaluate effectiveness & develop feedback mechanisms before and after rollout of training initiatives.
· Maintain training records and prepare training status reports.
· Keep current with training trends, developments, and best practices.
· Work closely with other HR teams and L&D peers to offer best-in-class learning opportunities.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or minimum two years of instructional training.
· Knowledge of coaching and developing leadership and individual performers.
· Familiarity in performance management concepts.
· Course/Curriculum development.
· Experience with a competency-based language, such as DISC, Caliper, or Korn Ferry.
· Some LMS administration will be necessary.
· Ability to read and adjust to audience during training sessions.
