Job Summary Under general direction, perform a wide range of Safety and Security duties providing a safe and secure environment. Provide minimal maintenance assistance. Exhibits the values of F.I.R.S.T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust). Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing supplemental tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Works primarily a 12 hour evening shift, but may on occasion be required to work extended hours or extra shifts. Normal stress involved, heavy stress may be involved on occasion. Subject to burns, cuts, strains, abrasions, electric shock, exposure to minimal danger in restraining persons who may pose a threat to employees, patients or guests. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently. Must be able to pass color blindness test. Contacts with Others Will have contact with other Associates, guests and patients on a routine basis. Minimum Qualifications or EquivalentsEducation:High School Graduate, specialized training in Security and Law Enforcement. Experience: Two (2) years experience in Security or Law Enforcement preferred. EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must know how to operate hand tools and perform some maintenance for emergency situations. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations Valid Kentucky Driver's License.
