Job Title:Technical Asset Distribution Specialist Department: Technology Reports To: Technical Assets Distribution Manager Compensation: $40,560 TRS Classification: Non-classified Summary The Technical Asset Distribution Specialist is a highly organized and motivated individual focused on maintaining accurate inventory levels and efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate is proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Other duties may be assigned: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantity and quality. Prepare and process outgoing shipments with proper packaging and labeling. Use equipment for loading and unloading goods. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking, delivery, and discrepancies. Coordinate with other departments for timely order fulfillment. Assist with inventory management, including stock counts. Perform additional duties assigned by the Technical Assets Distribution Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in basic computer skills, including the Google Suite and inventory management software Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to think critically and make decisions based on available information Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management, both verbally and in writing Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Excel. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current driver's license Other Qualifications: Must be able to pass a state-mandated background check after a conditional offer of employment is made Must have favorable employment references Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The candidate will be working with various tools and equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery. The work schedule for this position may include weekends and occasional overtime, depending on the needs of the school during peak volume times. The candidate must be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment while maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail. The noise level is usually moderate to loud (when machines or equipment are operating).
