EPIC Long Island is looking to hire a Children's Clinic Director.
Essential Functions:
- Manage Mental Health Clinic Operations including case assignment, hiring of new staff and other administrative functions
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s outpatient mental health clinic
- Manage program expansion by developing programming based on assessed needs.
- Ensures the delivery of high quality, mental health services.
- Implement efficiencies in conjunction with Senior Director and Office Manager
- Coordinates with Medical Director to ensure effective care for clinic patients.
- Ensures effective interface between clinic staff and recipients.
- Oversees after hour on call coverage by staff members and responds to emergency calls.
- Provides weekend and evening onsite coverage.
- Clinical Supervision of staff and Social Work students
- Oversees and monitors High Risk Patients
- Oversees and ensures safety of service recipients.
- Ensure staff compliance with OMH, Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance standards, regulations, and initiatives.
- Understand billing requirements and familiarity with rates.
- Provide clinical supervision, training, oversight of documentation and compliance with agency and OMH regulations
- Managing caseloads.
- Updating EMR and other pertinent technology.
- Develop partnerships with community organizations and referral sources.
- Implements quality assurance activities including utilization reviews.
- Manages OMH licensing reviews.
- Participates in quarterly Incident Review Committee meetings.
- Attends OMH related meetings and trainings.
- Manages PCS Survey and other state and county initiatives.
- Manages Incident Reporting.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
