What we are looking for :
A Specialty Medication Coordinator (also referred to as Biologics Coordinator) to assist with ensuring our patients have access to the best care possible! While this individual will assist with Medical Assistant duties as needed, their bigger focus will be on navigating the complexities of patient access to prescribed biologics and specialty medications.
This may include communicating with insurance providers, completing enrollment forms, reviewing benefit verifications, submitting prior authorizations, writing appeals or letters of medical necessity, and coordinating all efforts of specialty pharmacies and manufacturer HUBs.
The ideal candidate should be totally comfortable juggling multiple priorities and excel at meeting deadlines Bonus points if you are a total people person!

Work Environment and Physical Requirements :
Medical office, procedure / exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances.
Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
