Supply Chain Operations Mgr - US

As the Supply Chain Operations Manager, this position will play a crucial role in supporting the Regional Supply Chain Manager to ensure the newly established Regional Supply Chain organization fulfills the Supply Chain needs of the Divisions and Customer Centers. Responsibilities include overseeing supply chain management at the national level, ensuring compliance with established workflows (WoW), demonstrating strong leadership qualities, and maintaining accountability for the country's four main key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will serve as a proactive leader dedicated to leveraging Supply Chain operations as a strategic advantage for both Epiroc and our valued customers.

The preferred location forthe Supply Chain Operations Manager position is Allen, TX. Consideration may be given to strong candidates who reside within a one-hour drive from a major US-based International Airport or an Epiroc USA Service Center location.

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Performance:

• Support the Regional Supply Chain Manager in enforcing logistics principles, policies, and processes across Customer Centers (CCs).
• Facilitate the transition of supply chain operations to an integrated global model, driving change management initiatives within the country and advancing the evolution of the regional supply chain network, services, and organization.
• Actively contribute to setting and monitoring performance targets, ensuring the attainment of Supply Chain objectives within the country.
• Assist in the establishment of a world-class supply chain within the region, emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Engage in North American project management for Regional and Country Supply Chain transformation projects.
• Foster close collaboration with CCs, particularly General Managers/Branch Line Managers, to continually enhance supply chain services.
• Maintain clear and expedient communication channels, internally and externally, to keep teams well-informed and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Play an active role in evaluating and executing the new Supply Chain strategy.
• Manage a network of internal stakeholders effectively.

Warehouse Operations:

• Supervise warehouse management operations, including pick, pack, and ship processes, with a focus on continuous improvement to enhance "Total Cost to Serve" and "On-Time In-Full" (OTIF) delivery.
• Oversee physical returns processing and ensure effective inventory control in collaboration with CCs and Divisions.
• Manage contractual and operational aspects of third-party logistics providers (if applicable), ensuring adherence to KPIs and fostering strong business relationships.
• Manage operational and facilities aspects of Epiroc-managed Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs)/Local Distribution Centers (LDCs).

Alignment with Regional Functional Managers/Divisions:

• Collaborate with Regional Transportation teams to optimize inbound and outbound transportation, consignment, and services stocks inventory, and oversee customs processing and trade compliance.
• Coordinate with Order Processing and Expediting teams to ensure timely order processing, promise date commitments, replenishment processing, and expediting and claims management.
• Lead inbound supply management efforts, including supply planning, call-offs, supplier selection, and lead-time management.
• Establish and manage the supply chain organization according to blueprint specifications, including hiring, training, and coaching team members.
• Ensure team adherence to Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Assurance policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics, or equivalent experience (minimum of 5 years, preferred 10 years) in similar supply chain management roles.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong leadership skills with proven managerial experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes, domestic and international sales order throughput processes, and logistic and distribution processes.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written; additional languages preferred.

Pay Range:

$117,000 - $175,000 per year (Compensation determination based upon job related factors, such as experience, education, geographic location and other criterion).
