Job Posting for Fund Development Coordinator at Episcopal Retirement Services

Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the fund development team through management of the Raiser’s Edge Management System and assisting with fund development programs.

Manages all donation tracking and report generation through Raiser’s Edge, including, but not limited to, updating appeal codes and acknowledgement letters, completing data for Annual Ministry Report, producing regular accounting and ad hoc reports, processing all gifts and staff payroll deductions, entering gifts received and generating donor acknowledgements, and processing pledge reminders. Maintaining the community census and associated family members and responsible parties.

Assists with the annual giving (The Promise Fund) and major gifts/planned giving programs through compiling mailing lists, copying/printing materials, coordinating mailings and any other duties that may be identified to ensure the success of the programs.

Provides research assistance to the Director of Development.

Completes other duties that enhance the operation of the Fund Development Team, including, but not limited to, maintaining and updating the Fund Development strategy reports, credit card statements, birthday cards and Thanksgiving cards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong Raisers Edge experience preferred
  • Must enjoy and have skills in working with people.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision and able to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and general public.
  • Must be willing to work harmoniously and effectively with other personnel, as well as be willing to communicate with residents based at whatever behavior or acuity level they are currently functioning.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
  • Must be able to maintain regular attendance.
