Proven experience in admissions and marketing roles, preferably in an independent school setting
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive admissions growth
Strong understanding of enrollment management principles and best practices
Experience with digital marketing, social media management, and content creation
Familiarity with enrollment management software and CRM systems (ESN uses Blackbaud)

Job Responsibilities:
Serving on the School’s senior administration team, the Director of Admissions and Marketing plays a critical role in driving enrollment growth and enhancing the school's brand visibility through strategic admissions and marketing initiatives.
Admissions Strategy:
Collaborate with school leadership to establish data-driven enrollment goals and develop plans to achieve them
Develop and execute comprehensive admissions strategies to attract and enroll mission-aligned students
Oversee the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective families
Oversee the development and implementation of appropriate admissions testing and decision making processes
Utilize the School’s enrollment management software (Blackbaud) and data analytics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions
Enrollment Management:
Develop a comprehensive admissions and enrollment management calendar
Oversee student records and transcript communications
Work with members of the administration and faculty to organize specific retention efforts at the key grade levels and to increase legacy students
Marketing Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to raise awareness of the school, increase inquiries, and drive enrollment
Manage the school's brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels
Lead the creation of compelling marketing content, including print materials, digital assets, website content, and social media posts
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies and stay ahead of the curve
Digital Marketing and Social Media Management:
Oversee the school's digital marketing efforts, including website management, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns
Supervise the person managing the School's social media channels, to ensure engagement with followers, posting of relevant content, and fostering a sense of community
Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to evaluate performance, optimize campaigns, and drive continuous improvement
Event Management:
Plan and coordinate admissions events, open houses, and campus tours to showcase the School's offerings and engage with prospective families
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student ambassadors to ensure successful event execution and meaningful interactions with visitors
Evaluate event effectiveness and ROI, making recommendations for enhancements and improvements
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and motivate the admissions and marketing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities as needed
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the admissions and marketing team
Establish clear goals, objectives, and performance metrics for team members, and regularly review progress and provide feedback
Manage the Coordinator of Admissions and Family Engagement, and the Communications Associate, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure the effective execution of their responsibilities
Work with and provide direction to the faculty liaison for admissions
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the school and generate referrals
Represent the school at community events, fairs, and conferences to raise awareness and attract prospective families
Collaborate with school leadership and parent volunteers to engage current families and strengthen the school community
Reporting Relationships: The Director of Admissions and Marketing reports to the Head of School.
