Data can be overwhelming, inaccessible, and noisy. EpochGeo is a data services firm specializing in supporting the full spectrum data cycle: beginning with scalable data storage and ending in producing impactful analytics. Our developers, analysts, and data scientists have a proven track record applying open-source innovative technology, data science, and actionable analytics to inform customers’ data driven decisions.
Your background likely includes:
- 1 - 5 years of experience working with reporting, conducting research, and/or producing reports.
- Education or military experience in Regional Studies, Language, Geography, Policy, Military Intelligence, etc.
- Applied GIS work and familiarity with ESRI products and/or QGIS.
- Intel Analyst Experience in any of the following disciplines: open source exploitation, targeting, geospatial intelligence products, or qualitative topic knowledge in national security areas.
- Nice to have: Analyst Notebook, graph networks, GIS, imagery exploitation.
What you will be doing:
- Identify and articulate indicators of CI threats in support of developing strategies to mitigate risks to operational and strategic interests.
- Exploiting multiple data and information environments for insights that can be automated at scale with developer assistance.
- Working with a multi-discipline team to build automated tipping and cueing and/or alert generation tools.
- Preparing and presenting formal and informal briefings to a variety of audiences.
- Preparing data visualization products from your analysis that turn into finished intelligence products and reports.
- Working in a dynamic environment with ever evolving requirements.
Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Policy, Regional Studies, Geography, etc.
Additional: Must hold a DoD TS clearance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
