Lead and coordinates Pipette Tip production in a highly technical and automated environment. Applies knowledge and technical expertise effectively to make resolve problems or technical issues. Setup and startup of injection molding machines and automation including process optimization, quality inspection and release of production process. Setup and startup of packing lines such as label printers and shrink-wrap machines. Troubleshoot and improve product quality, packaging, productivity and processes. Documenting and getting authorization for deviation of processes. Train and development of self and co-workers, including the ability to assess another team members’ task performance. Assist in machine, mold and automation troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance program. Assist in maintaining supply of machine and automation spare parts. Maintenance mold history records, i.e. documenting preventive maintenance and mold repair. Fill-in for staff vacancies/assist team. Make decisions regarding production and technical issues regarding the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the clean room. Make personnel decisions regarding workload to prioritize and optimize output. Interacts within the department and with outside departments, especially Quality Assurance, Automation and Mold room personnel. Your expertise At minimum a High school diploma plus three to five years’ related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education. Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume and can convert into metric measurements Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
