Job Description
Eppy's Drug Store is expanding their billing department. We are pleased to announce we have a position for a DME Medical billing/reimbursement specialist. This position is vital to our organization and we are looking for a strong team player to join our family.
- Medicare billing for Supplies
- Walkers, Wheelchairs, and all other DME Billing
- Compounded Medication Billing
- Accounts Receivable Management
- Accounts Payable Management
- Collections
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college a plus
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in medical billing with a working knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement; Compounding Medication billing a plus
- Must have experience auditing documentation to ensure compliance with payer requirements
- Working knowledge of automated billing systems, experience with CPR preferred
- Working knowledge and application of metric measurements, basic accounting practices, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding
