Job Responsibilities:
- A Business Analytics Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the business analytics strategy, analyzing and interpreting data, creating reports and visualizations, monitoring business performance, collaborating with stakeholders, leading and developing a team, ensuring data governance and quality, and driving continuous improvement and innovation in analytics practices. Their role is to leverage data and analytics to provide valuable insights, support decision-making, and drive business growth.
Duties
- Proactively solve business problems leveraging complex data
- Leverage knowledge of KeyCorp and LOB strategy, business, and competition to anticipate needs and make recommendations
- Drive projects end to end; prioritize multiple projects; manage to tight deadlines
- Review deliverables; coach others on approach and work product
- Lead business partner interactions; drive for results and provide recommendations in alignment with business priorities
- Effectively communicate with team and business partners; articulate broad implications / impact of messages
- Address challenging situations; anticipate and address conflict by demonstrating managerial courage
- Proactively coach and guide the work of others; Serve as mentor within and beyond own team
- Manage integration of activities typically within own team

Eligibility Requirements

- Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or the Natural Sciences and 4 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or the Natural Sciences and 6 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency with:
o Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
o Query writing/coding including complex joins
o Data visualization
o Analytical programming languages
- Understanding of:
o Source systems
o Process flow and automation
- Skill & Ability to:
o Work with big data
o Navigate data warehouse and/or data supply chain
