Proposal Manager and Business Analyst

OVERVIEW

UES, an Eqlipse company has an immediate position for a Proposal Manager and Business Analyst who will assist Division Directors in various technical application spaces including BioSyntech and Biomanufacturing to manage proposals and align capabilities with new business opportunities. The successful candidate will partner with the Division Directors and coordinate information from the corporate departments and technical divisions to assist in developing winnable proposals and assist with business development opportunities. In collaboration and with the approval of the Division Directors, this individual will assign Division’s deadlines and workloads and deconflict with customers where necessary. They will assist the Division Directors with completing the business aspects of the proposals including resumes, teaming, etc. as well as proposal editing and proposal writing. This Manager will also support the R&D Sector with development and preparation of presentations and white papers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Understand the capabilities within the proposal or business opportunity.
• Partner with the Directors in coordinating proposal calendars, writing assignments, and the business aspects of the proposal.
• Provide the Business Development Team with white papers and presentations to align business development opportunities with division capabilities.
• Be the point person for transferring proposal and business development information from the Divisions to the R&D Sector and Eqlipse.
• Present updates and information from the R&D Sector to various audiences including Eqlipse.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

• PhD or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field
• Ability to obtain an excellent understanding of the technical capabilities within and across the application areas and throughout the Sector
• Understanding technical strategy and how it relates to our technical goals
• Successfully preparing presentations and white papers for a variety of customers
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• 5 to 10 years’ experience writing successful competitive proposals
• Effectively working through influence
• Successful experience working in a matrixed team
• Travel up to 10% (domestic)
• Requires US Citizenship
