Certifications Required: Must be a Graduate of an Accredited Pathologists' Assistant Program, ASCP Certification preferred.
Types of procedures: Frozen Sections and HIGH COMPLEXITY SPECIMENS: Mastectomy, APR's, Limb Amputation, Nephrectomy, Laryngectomy, Radical Prostatectomy, Cystoprostatectomy, Thyroidectomy, Colectomy, Hysterectomy, Gastrectomy, etc...
Experience handling: Cassette Labeler, Dragon Voice Recognition, Loading Tissue Processor, Windows 10, Cryostat, Examination of complex surgical specimens.
30-50 specimens per day...
EPIC charting...
First time travelers are accepted...
Dress code: any color scrubs / smart casual...
