EQ by Equiniti is seeking a qualified Relationship Manager to join our team. We need a passionate and engaged individual to join our team and help us continue to drive our success forward. This is a fast-paced, client-focused role with visibility throughout the organization. To be successful an individual needs to be analytical as well as have a strong background in operations, client management and communication.
Business Function
The Relationship Manager is focused on maintaining strong client relationships, identifying and upselling new products and services to a portfolio of small and mid-sized Transfer Agent clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual contributor to provide primary client contact, proactive communication, consultation and coordination for the effective and robust delivery of existing and new products and services. Ensure customer satisfaction through designing and implementing a relationship plan that meets customer and EQ needs. In conjunction with other internal and external partners, increase revenue through building, deepening and maintaining client relationships. Someone who owns and understands the back office process of these detailed client transactions. Share ideas and foster an open, proactive dialogue with the client.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Individual contributor within our Relationship Management team with primary point of contact responsibility for a portfolio of clients
- Learn and maintain a functional knowledge of EQ products and services with the goal of identifying cross-sell opportunities
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management
- Coordinate / participate in transaction closing activities, corporate actions, and annual meeting support
- Recommend and implement service enhancements, developments or solutions to meet customer needs beyond our standard service offerings
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal EQ functional groups
- Manage client portfolio against revenue goals
- Review and understanding of basic legal agreements to identify EQ's administrative requirements and responsibilities
- Collect delinquent fees as needed

Education requirements
- Bachelor degree; MS/MBA or equivalent preferred
Experience requirements
- 5 years of experience in trust services client and operations, financial services, legal or industry experience
- Experience in communications and interactions with individuals at various levels within an organization, including but not limited to senior leaders and corporate counsel
